Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work April through September on a part-time seasonal basis
- Must comply with federal, state and local health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Good physical stamina
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar food preparation role preferred
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to work part-time and seasonally
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy
- Follow HACCP guidelines
- Complete required documentation, reports, logs
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Perform other duties as assigned
