This job opportunity is for a Part-Time Seasonal Prep Cook position located at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The role is seasonal, running from April through September, and is event-driven, providing a unique and dynamic work environment. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities include following daily production schedules and recipes, preparing various food items, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and serving customers efficiently. You will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to help deliver fresh, timely meals that adhere to federal, state, and local health guidelines, including HACCP policies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work April through September on a part-time seasonal basis
  • Must comply with federal, state and local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Good physical stamina
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar food preparation role preferred
  • Basic food safety knowledge
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Willingness to work part-time and seasonally

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label and date all food items according to policy
  • Follow HACCP guidelines
  • Complete required documentation, reports, logs
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Perform other duties as assigned
