Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work April through September on a part-time seasonal basis
  • Must comply with federal, state and local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Good physical stamina
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar food preparation role preferred
  • Basic food safety knowledge
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Willingness to work part-time and seasonally
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label and date all food items according to policy
  • Follow HACCP guidelines
  • Complete required documentation, reports, logs
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Perform other duties as assigned
