The Prep Cook role at Cattlemens is a critical position responsible for ensuring that all ingredients and dishes are prepared quickly, efficiently, and consistently according to the company's high-quality standards and product specifications. This role demands a strong commitment to safety and sanitation procedures to uphold the health standards of the kitchen. Prep Cooks play a vital part in maintaining operational smoothness and supporting the culinary team by preparing the proper amounts of food perfectly following the recipes. The position offers compensation ranging from $19 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and location. Additionally, prep cooks have opportunities to earn more through contests and bonus programs designed to reward dedication and excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food preparation or as a cook preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • ServSafe Food Safety certification is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
