Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated 2 years of full service restaurant cooking experience
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced high volume kitchen environment
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Must have strong knife skills
  • Must be able to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • Outstanding verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Working clean throughout the shift and at closing time
  • ServSafe food handling certification a plus
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and order tickets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards
  • Manage cooking times and food quality during service
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Support closing duties including cleaning and kitchen maintenance
