Job Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but on the job training provided
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Follow prep list created by chefs to plan duties
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves to keep organized and accessible
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings as required for cooking
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
  • Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food
  • Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees
  • Maintain clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash
  • Ensure proper storage of all food and items
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
