Job Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles
Proven food handling and safety knowledge within the food industry or restaurant environment
Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, and catering services preferred
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance or willing to learn
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others

Job Duties

Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, garnishes, and side dishes according to menu specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
Follow food safety protocols and handle food items with care to prevent contamination or spoilage
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, and cooking appliances
