Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- able to pass a background check
- eligibility for E-Verify
- flexible to work various shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques
- understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures

- prior experience as a prep cook or in a similar food preparation role is advantageous
Job Duties
- Setting up and sanitizing workstations
- following prep lists created by chefs
- measuring ingredients and seasonings
- preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock
- preparing simple dishes like entrees or salads
- ensuring proper storage and accessibility of food items
- assisting chefs and attending to culinary tasks
- distributing plates to wait staff and preparing takeaway packages
- supervising food and cooling room temperatures
- accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers
- maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
