The role of Stand Supervisor at Legends Global is a dynamic and important position focused on the supervision and coordination of stand workers within the VIP area during events. This position ensures smooth day-to-day operations involving food and beverage service, inventory management, compliance with health and alcohol policies, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and cleanliness. As a Stand Supervisor, the individual will oversee stand set-up and closing procedures, including counting inventory, prepping food and beverage products, ensuring all workstations remain clean and properly stocked, and managing replacement stock as necessary. This role also requires the Stand Supervisor to be well-versed in all positions within the stand, able and willing to fill in wherever needed to ensure seamless operation. Accurate completion of all paperwork and reporting related to the stand’s activities is another key responsibility.

The Stand Supervisor plays a critical role in managing the staff to ensure food preparation meets both the guidelines set by Legends Global and the board of health, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This position requires a strong understanding of POS systems, including handling voids, credit card issues, and closing out procedures, as well as the ability to input daily event sheets and reports accurately. Collaboration with the customer service department is essential to continually improve guest service and satisfaction. The Stand Supervisor is also responsible for scheduling, making necessary changes, posting schedules, and ensuring a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

To excel in this role, candidates must have extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered, as well as the layout of the venue and assigned areas. Providing personal service and attention to detail that exceeds guest expectations is paramount. Maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work environment and assuring compliance with company service standards, inventory control, and cash handling procedures is critical. The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet service demand levels. Additionally, the Stand Supervisor must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years experience in a fast paced, high-end club, restaurant, or catering environment
  • Knowledge of POS system operations
  • Ability to manage inventory and perform daily reports
  • Understanding of alcohol policies and food safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Compliance with state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service
  • Ability to complete basic math calculations
  • Physical ability to perform duties involving standing, lifting, and bending
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Fluent in English
  • Maintain professional appearance and hygiene

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers in the VIP area
  • Oversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing procedures such as counting inventory, prep, cleaning
  • Ensures that all work stations remain clean and sufficiently stocked
  • Orders replacement stock from runners as necessary
  • Efficiently and accurately completes any required paperwork
  • Ensures that all employees are adhering to alcohol policies
  • Manages staff to ensure food preparation meets guidelines set by Legends and the board of health
  • Must be knowledgeable of all positions and willing and able to fill any position in the location if needed
  • Works with other stand personnel at closing to properly count ending inventory, clean equipment, and organize stock for the following event
  • Knowledgeable of POS system including voids, credit card issues, closing out procedures
  • Inputting daily event sheets and daily reports
  • Work closely with the customer service department to improve customer service in all assigned areas
  • Do inventory at assigned locations
  • Handle assigned area schedules, make changes, print and post them
  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Ability to interact with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered
  • Know the layout of the venue and assigned area
  • Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail that exceed expectations
  • Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area
  • Assure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures
