Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas and pantries is also important to ensure a smooth operation. After events, the employee assists with breaking down and cleaning the suites, which includes returning any unused items or equipment. Effective communication between the Food Runner, Suite Attendants, Supervisors, and Kitchen staff is critical to maintain seamless service flow.
As a role that requires standing and walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting items weighing between 25-35 pounds, physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet is essential. Additionally, this role demands flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and event days as scheduled, aligning with the operation’s busy periods.
