The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor role at Oak View Group is a vital position tasked with overseeing the serving of guests across the suites level, which comprises 29 exclusive suites, VIP areas, and catering zones. This role requires a personable and adaptable professional capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment typical of large-scale live entertainment events. The supervisor works collaboratively with the Premium Manager on critical projects such as staff training, inventory management, and the coordination of special events, ensuring seamless service and exceptional customer satisfaction. As a part-time position, this role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions.

The Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all suite orders and banquet event orders are understood and executed flawlessly. They must exhibit a keen attention to detail, ensuring that catering stations, buffets, and beverage areas are set according to event specifications and that food quality, temperature, and replenishment standards are consistently maintained throughout each event. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, as well as adherence to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, is critical to the role. The supervisor must efficiently communicate and coordinate with other team members including supervisors, bartenders, runners, and kitchen staff to deliver a smooth and memorable hospitality experience.

In addition to operational duties, the Premium Food & Beverage Supervisor acts as a frontline ambassador for Oak View Group, fostering positive relationships with guests by anticipating and meeting their needs with professionalism and courtesy. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or catering environment
  • valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education
  • ability to supervise the work of others
  • ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
  • ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory

Job Duties

  • Read and understand suite orders and banquet event orders provided by the manager
  • provide exceptional hospitality to guests in suites, club spaces, and event areas throughout the ballpark
  • responsible for checking and helping with catering stations, buffets, beverage areas, and suites according to event specifications and presentation standards
  • ensures all assigned suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders and all catering areas are set before serving time
  • display high attention to detail to ensure that work is accurate and complete
  • have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
  • monitor food quality, temperature, and replenishment levels during events
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • communicate effectively with supervisors, runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met
  • handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and escalate issues to management when needed
  • ability to multitask and work independently during slower times
  • maintains customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude
  • knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • all other duties as assigned by the managers
