Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
- Must be available nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Must demonstrate ability to meet company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security if necessary
- Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
- Request additional product or restock as required
- Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation
- Set-up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
