Job Requirements

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to stand and walk extensively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must verify guest ID for alcohol service

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred
  • Must be available nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with coworkers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • Check guests' ID to verify minimum legal drinking age
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain clean and sanitary workstation
  • Request additional product or restock as needed
  • Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
