Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
six months or more bartending experience
valid SNHD food handling card
Alcohol Awareness or equivalent certification
ability to obtain a non-gaming work card (Sheriff's Card)
possession of Union Pour Card
ability to lift 50 pounds
ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and long shifts
excellent interpersonal communication skills
accurate cash handling skills

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state federal regulations
learn and have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check guest's ID in accordance with state federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
contact management or security if guest becomes confrontational belligerent or uses extreme profanity
contact management when unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
request additional product or restock product as required
handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
maintain clean and sanitary work station at all times
ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler
perform other duties as assigned
