Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience with focus in high-end establishments or hospitality management
  • Appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and or service food in the city and state where work will be performed
  • Mixology certifications or training desirable

Job Duties

  • Create classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware, garnishing drinks and educating customers about the drink menu
  • Take orders and serve drinks either directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assessing customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations as needed
  • Maintain the bar area ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and proper stocking of ice, beverages, slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, and cleaning glassware and utensils
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations including verifying customer age and ensuring efficient bar operations
  • Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
