The role of a Premium Bartender Non-Tipped at Good Samaritan Hospital, employed through Sodexo, is a unique and dynamic position that combines hospitality skills with creativity and customer service excellence. This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, with shifts available to accommodate open availability. The Premium Bartender will be responsible for crafting both classic and innovative cocktails, managing the bar area, and ensuring each guest experiences high-quality beverages in a clean and inviting setting. This role requires not only technical bartending skills but also the ability to educate customers on the drink menu, suggest personalized recommendations, and maintain compliance with all food and beverage regulations.
Beyond serving drinks, the Premium Bartender will maintain the bar's organization by stocking ice, beverages, and garnishes, preparing mixers, and cleaning glassware and utensils. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of related experience with a focus on high-end establishments or hospitality management preferred
- Appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or serve food in the city and state where work will be performed if applicable
- Mixology certifications or training desirable

Job Duties
- Create classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware and garnishing drinks, educating customers about the drink menu
- Take orders and serve drinks directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assessing customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations as needed
- Maintain the bar area, ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked including stocking ice, beverages, slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, and cleaning glassware and utensils
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including verifying customers' age for alcohol purchase
- Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
- Attend work and arrive for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
