Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 3 years of related experience preferably in high-end establishments or hospitality management
  • valid license, certification, or permit to bartend or serve food in the applicable city and state if required
  • mixology certifications or training is desirable

Job Duties

  • Create classic and innovative cocktails
  • select appropriate glassware
  • garnish drinks
  • educate customers about the drink menu
  • take orders and serve drinks directly or via waitstaff
  • assess customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations
  • maintain the bar area ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • stock ice, beverages, and bar supplies
  • prepare specialty mixers
  • clean glassware and utensils
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations including age verification
  • train and supervise employees as directed
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time
  • perform other duties as assigned depending on client needs
