With a strong emphasis on community involvement, customer service, and member education, Keesler Federal has built a reputation for reliability, trust, and innovation within the financial services industry. The organization prides itself on fostering a dynamic work environment where team members are valued, supported, and provided with opportunities for growth and development. Keesler Federal offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, fostering employee satisfaction and loyalty.

The PR and Media Manager position at Keesler Federal is a pivotal role within the Marketing Department that reports directly to the Director of PR and Communications. This exempt-level position is responsible for the strategic development and execution of communication initiatives that elevate the organization's brand reputation and public image across all media channels. The PR and Media Manager ensures that all communications adhere to brand standards and comply with regulatory requirements, particularly within NCUA and CFPB frameworks. Collaboration across multiple departments such as Marketing, Community Development, Member Experience, HR, and Compliance is essential to the success of the role. This position demands a candidate with a college degree or equivalent experience, 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience preferably in financial services or similarly regulated industries, exceptional writing ability, crisis communication experience, and proficiency in media monitoring tools and Microsoft 365 applications. The role may require occasional travel and demands a high level of trust, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills in managing internal and external relationships. Keesler Federal also offers a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with full matching, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and disability coverage, making this a rewarding opportunity for experienced PR professionals seeking to contribute meaningfully to a respected financial institution.
