Job Description

This job opportunity is offered at a vibrant sports bar located within a larger hospitality and casino environment, known for its fast-paced and high-energy atmosphere. The establishment prides itself on delivering unsurpassed guest service and fostering a team-oriented culture that values integrity, professionalism, and personal dedication. Committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, this sports bar emphasizes attention to detail and guest satisfaction, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service in an enjoyable and lively setting. The workplace atmosphere is dynamic and requires flexibility from its employees to work various shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. The hourly wage starts at $12.21 plus tips, reflecting the important role of staff in enhancing guest experience and contributing to the venue's success.

As a Sports Bar Busser, you will be an integral part of the guest service team, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of the dining area to promote a positive and welcoming environment for all patrons. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a tidy and well-organized dining room, promptly clearing tables and removing used dishware, and assisting in keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked. You will greet guests with friendliness and professionalism, anticipate their needs, and quickly address any concerns to enhance their overall visit. This role requires a high level of teamwork, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Additionally, you must possess good knowledge of the venue’s menu, beverage selection, promotions, events, and hotel facilities to assist guests effectively.

The role demands adherence to strict internal controls and departmental policies to maintain operational standards and regulatory compliance. The busser must also be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds occasionally, and be able to handle extended periods of walking, standing, and moving within the property. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times to ensure safety. Since the environment can be moderately to loudly noisy, especially on the casino floor, comfort with working under these conditions is essential.

This position requires achieving Responsible Alcohol certifications within 90 days of employment, highlighting the commitment to responsible service and compliance with alcohol-related regulations. Guest interaction is a vital component of the job, emphasizing professionalism, discretion with confidential information, and a genuine passion for providing excellent hospitality. The Sports Bar Busser must be adaptable to working in different venues across the property as business needs demand, showcasing flexibility and readiness to support various operational areas.

In summary, this Sports Bar Busser position offers a unique chance to work within a dynamic sports bar and casino setting, where excellent guest service, teamwork, and a high standard of cleanliness and safety are the cornerstones of the work experience. Competitive pay, tips, and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team make this role appealing to those seeking a rewarding role in hospitality.
