Job Description

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is a leading management company specializing in organizing and operating sports and entertainment venues. They are currently seeking an experienced Post Event Manager to join their team at Miami Freedom Park, a premier sports and entertainment venue located in Miami, Florida. The company is committed to providing exceptional event experiences while maintaining the highest standards of facility management and cleanliness. With a strong reputation in the industry, Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group emphasizes quality service, safety, and operational efficiency at every event held at Miami Freedom Park.

The Post Event Manager position is a full-time role based at Miami Freedom Park, with a competitive yearly salary of $55,000. This key position offers an opportunity for dedicated individuals to oversee the critical post-event operations that ensure the venue is returned to pristine condition after every event. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Post Event Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the cleaning and janitorial staff, organizing schedules, and maintaining the quality standards that the venue demands. Additionally, this role involves administrative responsibilities for the event shifts, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively, from staff assignments to supply management.

In this role, the Post Event Manager will coordinate with the Project Manager for work assignments and play a pivotal part in managing labor, equipment, and supplies required for post-event cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to deploy and supervise staff, conduct inspections, and communicate company policies clearly. They will also need to be proactive in handling incidents, safety concerns, and client requests to uphold the venue’s reputation for superior service.

The duties include planning and executing cleaning operations after events, assigning staff roles, managing equipment check-in and check-out, training employees, and conducting facility inspections. Furthermore, the Post Event Manager will be involved in budget tracking and labor reporting to ensure that operations stay within financial plans. This role demands a hands-on approach, as the manager will assist with work assignments when necessary and remain onsite until relieved. Beyond post-event responsibilities, the manager may also support daytime or project operations on non-event days, indicating a dynamic and integral role within the venue’s operations.

This position demands physical capabilities such as lifting at least 50 pounds, carrying or pushing equipment, and the ability to work in varied environmental conditions including hot, cold, and damp settings. Reliable transportation is also required to ensure dependable attendance. Preferred candidates will have management or supervisory experience, janitorial or cleaning background, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish, which will be advantageous in communicating effectively with a diverse team and clientele.

Overall, working as a Post Event Manager at Miami Freedom Park offers a rewarding career opportunity within a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment. The role is essential to sustaining the venue's cleanliness standards and ensuring all post-event procedures align with company protocols and client expectations. Candidates joining Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group will also benefit from a comprehensive compensation package including medical, dental, vision options, 401K eligibility after one year, vacation and holiday pay, and performance bonuses.
