Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or beverage service preferred
- ability to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness
- valid food handling certificate or willingness to obtain
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and event days
- physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
- ability to speak, read, and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit or ability to acquire them through OVG
- ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
Job Duties
- Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets
- maintain inventory levels including glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, and paper products
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of beverage areas and bar equipment
- complete bar transfers and dry stock deliveries paperwork
- maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage
- set up and breakdown portable bars
- ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes
- organize and maintain beverage pump room, storage rooms, and warehouses
- perform other job-related duties as requested
