Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hospitality or beverage service preferred
ability to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness
valid food handling certificate or willingness to obtain
flexible availability including nights, weekends, and event days
physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
ability to speak, read, and write in English
ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit or ability to acquire them through OVG
ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions

Job Duties

Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets
maintain inventory levels including glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, and paper products
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of beverage areas and bar equipment
complete bar transfers and dry stock deliveries paperwork
maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage
set up and breakdown portable bars
ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes
organize and maintain beverage pump room, storage rooms, and warehouses
perform other job-related duties as requested
