Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or beverage service preferred
  • ability to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness
  • valid food handling certificate or willingness to obtain
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and event days
  • physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
  • ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit or ability to acquire them through OVG
  • ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions

Job Duties

  • Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets
  • maintain inventory levels including glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, and paper products
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of beverage areas and bar equipment
  • complete bar transfers and dry stock deliveries paperwork
  • maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage
  • set up and breakdown portable bars
  • ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes
  • organize and maintain beverage pump room, storage rooms, and warehouses
  • perform other job-related duties as requested
