This job opening is for a Porter/Groundskeeper position at The Aster, a residential community located in Cary, North Carolina. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager, providing critical support in both grounds maintenance and housekeeping services. This position is vital in maintaining the visual appeal and functionality of the property, ensuring that both outdoor and indoor areas meet KETTLER's high standards. The Porter/Groundskeeper will be responsible for routine cleaning, landscaping tasks such as watering and maintaining plants, replacing light bulbs, and assisting with apartment turnovers through painting and thorough cleaning. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying maintenance needs, supporting the maintenance team by organizing materials and supplies, and safeguarding the storage areas.

A key aspect of the role is to uphold excellent customer service standards by responding promptly to service requests, delivering notices to residents, and addressing emergencies or weekend work as required. This position requires the individual to be physically capable of performing tasks including walking the grounds daily, climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and carrying out light maintenance duties.
