The Porter position plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Premium Service areas within venues supported by Legends. This role involves the delivery, maintenance, stocking, and cleaning of supplies and products needed in these premium zones. Key responsibilities extend to assisting with the setup and breakdown of functions as necessary, ensuring that every event runs seamlessly. The Porter is tasked with monitoring stock levels regularly, conducting inventory checks, and coordinating timely delivery of supplies to meet the dynamic demands of venue operations.

Beyond the logistical elements, the Porter’s role requires a keen attention to cleanliness and organization, guaranteeing that designated areas remain neat, safe, and orderly throughout events. Effective communication and collaboration with bartenders, servers, concession attendants, and leadership are vital, as the Porter supports these team members by providing prompt and efficient service. This helps create an overall exceptional guest experience, which is paramount to the company’s service standards.

Candidates for this role must demonstrate physical stamina and dexterity, as the position requires lifting and transporting items weighing between 10 to 30 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Mobility and the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling are also necessary to fulfill job responsibilities effectively. The role demands flexibility in working hours, including willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during various events.

Additionally, Porters must come with a foundational knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards, ensuring they can support hospitality operations meaningfully while promoting guest relations and etiquette. Communication skills are essential, with a requirement to read, write, and speak English proficiently to engage with guests and team members alike.
