Job Description

The Domain Companies is a nationally recognized real estate development and investment firm dedicated to making a meaningful and enduring social, economic, and physical impact within the communities it serves. Specializing in a diverse portfolio of projects, Domain oversees everything from affordable housing and mixed-income developments to high-end luxury apartments, condominiums, hospitality ventures, retail spaces, entertainment venues, and creative workspaces. The company's unique approach is deeply rooted in community engagement, entrepreneurial spirit, and the exceptional capabilities of its team members. Their focus on innovation and excellence ensures they remain at the forefront of the real estate industry, fostering a dynamic workplace that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a hybrid role combining the responsibilities of Porter and Concierge. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.33 with opportunities for annual bonuses, reflecting the importance of the role within our operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who excels in customer service and demonstrates a dedication to providing a top-quality experience for both residents and team members. As the primary point of contact for residents while performing concierge duties, the individual must embody a warm, approachable demeanor, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and exhibit a high level of reliability in following through on tasks.

The role of Porter is vital in maintaining our property's impeccable appearance and ensuring safety across the community. Attention to detail in cleaning, trash management, and timely reporting of safety concerns is critical. Porters communicate closely with maintenance teams and residents, helping to address operational needs efficiently and manage various resident service requests. They are essential in preparing new homes for incoming residents by completing thorough unit-turns and supporting community events through setup and takedown activities.

As a Concierge, the team member will monitor entrances and exits, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and manage the package room to ensure smooth operations. The Concierge also addresses resident concerns promptly, handles maintenance requests as needed, and provides access to the property for approved guests and deliveries. Offering local area knowledge, the Concierge plays an important role in enhancing resident and guest experience through personalized service, including lifestyle assistance with errands and services. Additionally, supporting social events and being proactive in problem-solving helps build an inclusive and welcoming community.

At Domain, we not only focus on hard work but also emphasize a vibrant cultural environment. We promote team engagement through company volunteer days, community involvement, and various team-building events. This role requires flexibility to meet company needs, excellent multitasking abilities, and the enthusiasm to contribute positively to the overall objectives of the company. Our comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness plans, life insurance, paid parental leave, 401(k) matching, vacation, and other perks, further supports our commitment to employee well-being and development. Joining Domain means becoming part of a community-committed firm where your contributions have a lasting impact.
