The Porter/Bell Person role at Sodexo is a vital position, particularly within the oil and gas industry client base. This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $22 per hour and involves varying shifts, with a preference for candidates who have open availability. As a Porter/Bell Person, you will be the first point of contact ensuring guests’ arrivals and departures run seamlessly by managing luggage and assisting with navigation throughout the client's premises. This position requires a friendly demeanor combined with a strong service ethic to help guests feel welcomed and supported during their visit.
Your responsibilities will include facilitating the movement of guests by calling cabs, assisting handicapped passengers, and guiding individuals to various locations such as ticket windows and restrooms. Additionally, the role requires handling outgoing mail or freight shipments, including preparing mailing tags and records. Maintaining clean and orderly lobby or entrance areas for travelers and guests is critical for creating a positive impression and comfortable environment. The Porter/Bell Person is expected to demonstrate reliability and punctuality, attending scheduled shifts with consistency.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years of related work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours
- Open availability preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Performs services such as calling taxicabs, directing persons to ticket windows and restrooms, and assisting handicapped passengers upon their arrival or departure
- Arranges for outgoing freight, express or other mail shipments and prepares all mailing tags and records
- Maintains clean lobbies or entrance areas for travelers or guests
- Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
