Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of restaurant experience, warehouse experience, or customer service experience
- ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
- ability to sit up to 1 hour
- ability to push or pull up to 50lbs unassisted for 1-2 hours per day
- ability to reach overhead up to 6 hours per day
- ability to walk up to 10 hours per day
- ability to lift or carry up to 25lbs unassisted for 1-2 hours per day
- ability to climb ladders or stairs up to 3 hours per day
- ability to kneel or crouch up to 6 hours per day
- ability to do upper body twisting up to 6 hours per day
- ability to work in temperatures over 80 degrees up to 3 hours per day
- candidate must be capable of safely performing the physical requirements of the job
- candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment questionnaire or physical
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of restaurant experience, warehouse experience, or customer service experience
- restaurant experience preferred
- porter experience preferred
- inventory experience preferred
- self-motivated and works well with others
- current and valid food handler card or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- demonstrate sanitation and food safety practices consistently
- help evaluate receiving spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment
- complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks timely and accurately
- follow company safety standards at all times and look out for the safety of other team members and guests
- coordinate job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening
- put food order away accurately, rotate stock in cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the first in-first out (FIFO) method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
- maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
- complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty
