Job Requirements
- Basic understanding and ability to converse in English
- experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred
- must be 21+ years of age
- ability to write and verbally communicate
- good positive energy throughout the day
- ability to print legibly
- ability to bend, kneel, and/or stand for extended periods
- ability to move quickly
- ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
- willingness to work extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
Job Qualifications
- Basic understanding and ability to converse in English
- experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred
- 21+ years of age (nightlife/daylife requirements)
- Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Porter training
- knowledge of food/beverage menus and retail merchandise preferred
- strong teamwork and communication skills

- ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
Job Duties
- Anticipate and accommodate all team members and guests needs
- provide help, training, and support to all fellow team members
- possess general knowledge of all food/beverage menus and general information about the venue
- possess general knowledge of all retail merchandise where applicable
- comply with Department of Health standards
- comply with all Tao Group Hospitality safety codes and standards
- ensure the maintenance, general cleanliness, and orderliness of the venue
- report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
- properly remove and store garbage, dirty service ware, and linens
- ensure all walkways are swept, mopped, and clear of debris
- proper use of cleaning chemicals, soaps, and supplies
- properly set up venue's sanitation areas and perform side-work including stocking stations, opening and closing side-work
- attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings
- participate in training sessions or departmental meetings
- learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example
- portray a positive and professional attitude
- demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments
- work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members
- assist and/or complete additional tasks as assigned
