Job Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a thorough background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Gaming License as required by the City of Chula Vista
- Ability to stand frequently and sit occasionally
- Ability to walk and reach frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- Ability to use hand dexterity frequently
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to see close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and guests
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Maintain clean and professional gaming floor environment
- Clean and maintain restrooms
- Pick up papers, trays, and recycle boxes from gaming floor and guest areas
- Assist Bussers with bar area cleaning
- Circulate gaming floor and dining room to promote teamwork
- Establish and maintain good rapport with guests to provide superior gaming and dining experience
- Report underage, intoxicated, or disruptive individuals to management or security
