The Porter position at Tao Group Hospitality is a vital role dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the branded location at all times, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and hygienic environment for both guests and team members. Porters are responsible for sweeping floors to remove debris, ensuring the floors remain dry and free of spills, collecting soiled cups and disposing of trash appropriately, including handling biohazard spills in compliance with health and branded location safety guidelines. Porters anticipate and accommodate the needs of fellow team members and guests by providing support and training, possessing a general knowledge of food, beverage menus, and retail merchandise where applicable. Responsibilities also include proper waste removal, floor care, correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and setting up sanitation areas as directed by management.
