The company's mission focuses on exceeding guest expectations through continual reinvention in both owned and managed properties, presenting a vibrant, dynamic, and customer-centric culture that inspires creativity and passion for excellence in hospitality.

The Porter position at Tao Group Hospitality is a vital role dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the branded location at all times, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and hygienic environment for both guests and team members. Porters are responsible for sweeping floors to remove debris, ensuring the floors remain dry and free of spills, collecting soiled cups and disposing of trash appropriately, including handling biohazard spills in compliance with health and branded location safety guidelines. This role ensures the overall sanitation and cleanliness that uphold the high standards Tao Group Hospitality is known for.

Porters anticipate and accommodate the needs of fellow team members and guests by providing support and training, possessing a general knowledge of food, beverage menus, and retail merchandise where applicable. They comply with Department of Health standards and the company’s rigorous safety protocols while maintaining the branded location's cleanliness and maintenance standards. Responsibilities also include proper waste removal, floor care, correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and setting up sanitation areas as directed by management. Porters also participate actively in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions, supporting a collaborative and positive team environment. This role demands strong communication skills, physical agility including bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, while working in sometimes noisy, crowded, and fast-paced environments such as offices, casinos, nightclubs, bars, lounges, and restaurants.

Tao Group Hospitality offers a part-time employment opportunity for this role along with a competitive benefits package including state applicable time off, pet insurance, a 401(k) retirement program with employer match, an employee assistance program, the TAO savings marketplace, employee discounts, and more. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, professional, able to maintain confidentiality, effective as part of a team, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-volume hospitality setting.
