The company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has established it as a leader in the automotive retail industry. AutoNation also prides itself on its strong corporate social responsibility efforts, notably through its DRV PNK initiative, which has raised over $40 million for cancer research and treatment. This demonstrates AutoNation's dedication to making a positive impact not just in the automotive sector, but also within the communities it serves.

The Service Porter role at AutoNation is vital in maintaining the high standards of vehicle care and customer service the company is known for. Service Porters assist in various operations related to the maintenance and service of vehicles, ensuring each vehicle is handled with care and returned to customers in pristine condition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering excellent service experiences while supporting daily operational needs within the dealership. The role is a great entry point for individuals passionate about the automotive industry and looking to build a career in a supportive and rewarding environment.

As a Service Porter, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that include assisting with service write-ups and tagging customer vehicles, inspecting vehicles before returning them to customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the vehicle lot. You will also facilitate the transportation needs of customers and dealership personnel, contribute to shop clean-up initiatives, and perform deliveries as required. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle machinery and vehicles safely. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles are essential for this role.

Working at AutoNation as a Service Porter comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation, 401k matching, health, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as maternity benefits. Employees also enjoy associate purchase discounts on new and pre-owned vehicles, parts, services, and accessories. The company fosters a healthy work-life balance and supports a diverse, inclusive workplace culture.
