Job Requirements

  • Five years of successful full-time public school district certificated service
  • a minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in a K-12 program
  • no fewer than two years of successful experience in a middle or senior high school counseling office
  • a valid California teaching credential requiring a Bachelor’s degree and professional preparation including student teaching
  • a valid California Administrative Services Credential
  • multicultural coursework
  • a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential
  • master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • district Master Plan requirements
  • completion of appropriate LAUSD Aspiring Administrator Program or placement in the eligible LAUSD pool

Job Qualifications

  • Valid California teaching credential
  • valid California Administrative Services Credential
  • valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential
  • master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • multicultural coursework
  • knowledge of state, federal, and LAUSD policies, procedures, and regulations
  • experience with standards-based instruction
  • experience with Teaching and Learning Framework and Master Plan for English Learners
  • proven leadership in a K-12 educational setting
