The Porter role at BH is vital for maintaining the aesthetic and functional upkeep of the residential properties under management. Reporting to the Community Manager, this part-time position requires dedication to upholding high standards in both exterior and interior common areas. The Porter is responsible for keeping grounds, landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, and building exteriors clean and well-maintained as well as caring for the cleanliness and orderliness of interior common spaces. Additionally, the Porter supports community operations by assisting with trash removal, upkeep of trash compactors and chutes, and sometimes pool maintenance. The position requires a hands-on approach and a strong customer service mindset as the Porter represents the company professionally to residents and visitors. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are a must, along with basic knowledge of maintenance, janitorial practices, and the use of cleaning equipment and hand tools.
