Job Description
PBR Atlanta is a vibrant and energetic country bar located in the heart of Atlanta. Known for its unique blend of the toughness of the rodeo sport and the lively atmosphere of country music and dance, PBR Atlanta offers a one-of-a-kind experience where guests can enjoy line dancing, cold beer, hard drinks, and even a taste of bull riding. This establishment stands out as the perfect spot for those looking to embrace their inner cowboy or cowgirl spirit while enjoying a friendly and engaging social environment. The bar represents more than just a place to drink; it's a community hub where people come together to celebrate country culture and make lasting memories.
The Porter position at PBR Atlanta plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bar environment. This role is vital to ensuring that every guest enjoys a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere. Porters are responsible for keeping floors clean by sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping, as well as dusting furniture and fixtures to uphold the bar's inviting appearance. They are also tasked with emptying trash containers and disposing of waste in a sanitary manner, operating mechanized cleaning equipment responsibly, and maintaining all cleaning supplies and equipment in proper working condition. Additionally, porters clean and stock the restrooms, wipe down glass surfaces, and wash windows on a scheduled basis to keep the bar in top shape.
Beyond these cleaning duties, porters monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements, demonstrating a proactive approach to facility maintenance. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team is essential for success in this role. Porters at PBR Atlanta often work during nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the bar's commitment to providing continuously exceptional service to its guests. Experience in janitorial or porter work is seen as a plus, but PBR Atlanta values a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to follow directions even more. This role demands physical stamina, including the capability to carry or lift items weighing up to 40 pounds and to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently throughout a shift.
Joining PBR Atlanta means becoming part of a close-knit team in a dynamic and fun environment where country spirit and hard work go hand in hand. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in hospitality, develop their teamwork skills, and contribute to the smooth operation of a unique and bustling entertainment venue. If you are a hardworking individual who thrives in fast-paced settings and enjoys working with a diverse group of people, the Porter position at PBR Atlanta could be the perfect fit. With its friendly atmosphere, commitment to quality, and community-focused approach, PBR Atlanta invites motivated applicants to bring their energy and enthusiasm to the team and help maintain the high standards that make this country bar a standout choice for locals and visitors alike.
