The role of Porter at Cornell Midtown, a multifamily residential property managed by Cushman & Wakefield, is vital to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of the community. This position involves cleaning vacant apartment units in preparation for marketing and occupancy, ensuring that all common areas such as business offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, and model apartments are well-maintained on a defined schedule. Additionally, the Porter is responsible for the upkeep of the property's landscape and exterior image, including areas like driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster zones, exterior hallways, and any other public spaces.

Working closely with the Resident Manager, Property Manager, and maintenance staff, the Porter plays a key role in providing world-class customer service by promptly addressing residents' concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner. Reporting any maintenance issues to supervisors and assisting with inventory control are also essential aspects of the job. The Porter must follow all company safety guidelines while performing duties and adapt to additional assigned tasks as required.

This is a full-time position offering competitive pay ranging from $16.15 to $19.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. The work environment is professional, with a necessity to travel between properties in various weather conditions and utilize standard office equipment. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, ascending and descending staircases and ladders, and occasionally exerting up to 25 pounds of force in various movements.

Job Duties
