The Porter - Mobile position at Omnia360 is a full-time, first-shift role operating Monday through Friday with competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, dependent on the candidate's experience and skills. This role encompasses light maintenance and cleaning duties primarily focused on unit turns across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring each unit's appearance and functional readiness by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, handling light repairs and installations, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position requires consistent travel within Columbus and the surrounding regions, necessitating a valid driver’s license and the ability to transport tools and materials between locations efficiently.

In this role, Porters are integral to maintaining the aesthetic and operational quality of client facilities by promptly addressing cleaning and maintenance needs. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, restroom cleaning, waste removal, and replenishing necessary supplies to guarantee a clean and welcoming environment. Additionally, the Porter will operate CMMS work order systems to track tasks and ensure accountability. Besides routine duties, the position offers opportunities to support equipment installation and minor repairs, enhancing the overall facility maintenance operations.

Job Requirements

  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
  • 1+ years of general maintenance and cleaning experience
  • Basic computer knowledge, including the ability to use email and work order systems
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Personal hand tools are a plus
  • Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks
  • Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Provide cleaning and light maintenance on all unit turns at multiple locations
  • Take responsibility for the unit's appearance and functionality
  • Ensure that service delivery to the client is timely and of the highest quality
  • Help with installation and repairs of equipment
  • Utilize CMMS work order systems
  • Emptying and removing waste from waste baskets as needed and directed
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors, vacuum and clean carpets
  • Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms
  • Transport tools and materials between sites or departments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
