- ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, scrubbers, etc.)
- ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more)
- ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions
- must be a team player with a professional, positive attitude
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain leasing office, restrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, amenities, laundry rooms, parking garage, and other common areas
- perform daily trash removal and recycling
- assist with preparing vacant and model apartments for move-ins and tours
- wash interior and exterior windows, maintain light fixtures, and keep the community fresh and presentable
- care for, inventory, and properly use all janitorial supplies and equipment
- provide basic grounds care such as sweeping, picking up trash, and watering planters
- assist with move-out cleanings, moving bulky items, and property inspections
- support the team during emergencies (flood, fire, weather-related events) and occasional overtime needs
