TC Restaurants is a prominent hospitality company operating multiple vibrant and uniquely themed venues throughout the Nashville area. Their portfolio includes popular establishments such as Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Sun Diner, Luigi's City Pizza, Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, Tequila Cowboy, and Wanna B's Karaoke Bar. Each venue is renowned for delivering exceptional dining and entertainment experiences, reflecting the city's rich music heritage and southern hospitality. TC Restaurants prides itself on fostering an engaging and dynamic work environment where team members are encouraged to uphold high standards of service, creativity, and professionalism. The company's diverse venues offer a wide range of cuisines, atmospheres, and entertainment options, making it a leading employer in Nashville's competitive hospitality industry.
The Porter position at TC Restaurants plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of multiple areas within these venues, including dining rooms, rooftops, and back-of-house spaces. This role demands a strong commitment to cleanliness standards and a proactive approach to housekeeping. Porters contribute significantly to the guest experience by ensuring that all common areas remain spotless, safe, and welcoming throughout operating hours. Given the fast-paced nature of the hospitality environment, individuals in this role must be capable of handling various tasks effectively and adapt to a team-oriented atmosphere. This position is suitable for candidates who are eager to learn, demonstrate reliability, and show attention to detail in their work.
Porters are expected to perform essential duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment, managing trash, and collecting debris to maintain a pristine environment. They are also responsible for adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies, closely monitoring maintenance supplies and equipment, and assisting with other housekeeping tasks as directed by management. In addition to operational duties, porters are evaluated based on a set of leadership qualities that include accountability, adherence to policy, punctuality, teamwork, communication skills, and overall productivity.
This job requires working knowledge and capabilities such as standing and moving continuously during shifts, performing tasks in varying temperatures and conditions, and engaging with guests and team members in lively environments that may include exposure to noise, flashing lights, and second-hand smoke. The role typically involves a flexible schedule that can exceed 30 hours per week, encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential overtime availability. The company emphasizes a neat and professional appearance consistent with its standards.
TC Restaurants is committed to equal employment opportunities, valuing diversity and inclusiveness within its workforce. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in hospitality by joining a reputable and exciting group of venues in one of America's most celebrated music and dining destinations. Joining TC Restaurants as a porter means becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence in guest satisfaction and workplace camaraderie while contributing to the overall success of Nashville's vibrant hospitality scene.
