Job Description

TC Restaurant Group is a prominent hospitality company renowned for its innovative dining concepts and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. With a portfolio that includes a diverse range of restaurants and rooftop venues, TC Restaurant Group focuses on creating memorable environments featuring top-tier cuisine, distinctive ambiance, and dedicated service staff. The group takes pride in fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture that supports employee growth and development while adhering to industry-leading standards for quality and cleanliness. Recognized as an equal opportunity employer, TC Restaurant Group values diversity and inclusion and participates actively in the E-Verify program to ensure compliance with legal employment standards in the United States.

The Porter role at TC Restaurant Group is key to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout multiple dining and back-of-house areas, including rooftops and other venue spaces. Those who fill this role ensure that all floors, equipment, and trash receptacles are kept clean and sanitized in accordance with strict company sanitation policies. Porters proactively carry out a wide array of daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks that contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and smooth operational flow of the restaurant environment. This position requires individuals who demonstrate accountability, punctuality, a positive attitude, and dependability while efficiently executing their duties within a team-based setting. Porters must also exhibit strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and exercise sound judgment in their work.

Candidates for this position will be expected to follow safety, health, and environmental procedures diligently, monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies, and adhere to company grooming and appearance standards. The role requires consistent mobility, as Porters will be standing, walking, bending, and reaching for the duration of their shifts, which can span varied times including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Working conditions may entail exposure to diverse indoor and outdoor environments, including temperature extremes, noise, flashing lights, and the fast-paced demands of a hospitality atmosphere. This role typically involves more than 30 hours per week and may require approved overtime.

TC Restaurant Group provides a supportive environment for team members to develop their job skills and gain valuable experience in hospitality operations. By joining the team as a Porter, individuals will contribute to the company’s commitment to excellence, guest satisfaction, and adherence to workplace standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a dynamic position within a leading restaurant group that values professionalism, teamwork, and customer-oriented service.
