Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
  • able to complete required training within 30 days of hire
  • attendance and punctuality is essential
  • ability to perform physical requirements including bending, twisting, walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 100 pounds with team lifting
  • ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments including extreme temperatures
  • ability to read and comply with safety and policy manuals
  • ability to interact professionally with residents and team members
  • must pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • experience with grounds keeping, landscaping, carpet cleaning, pool maintenance, or other related responsibilities preferred
  • ability to work well on your own as well as in a team environment
  • must have a customer focused attitude and ability to work as part of team to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • basic tools required
  • computer skills and working knowledge of Office 365
  • willingness and ability to utilize tablet/mobile devices and software efficiently

Job Duties

  • Remove trash from office areas, common areas, and community perimeter daily
  • assist with the make ready process by removing trash from vacant apartments
  • clean and maintain pool daily
  • monitor and maintain proper chemical balance of pool water
  • maintain cleanliness of hallways, walkways, and community amenities and common areas
  • ensure upkeep of community appearance by replacing lightbulbs, removing litter, painting, and performing minor repairs
  • identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the community and correct them or report them to the maintenance supervisor
