Job Description

Kairoi Residential is a leading multifamily real estate company committed to creating exceptional living experiences at high-performing multifamily communities. The company's mission centers on delivering long-term value to investors, associates, and residents by fostering vibrant, thriving neighborhoods where people feel truly at home. Kairoi prides itself on being an organization that empowers and inspires its employees by providing opportunities at every turn—an ethos encapsulated in the company name itself, "Kairoi," meaning moments in time where opportunities are seized. This dedication to community, growth, and excellence has made Kairoi Residential a trusted and admired presence in the multifamily housing industry.

This particular opportunity is for the role of a Porter within one of Kairoi’s multifamily communities. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and vibrancy of the community grounds, ensuring that both current residents and prospective tenants feel welcome and comfortable. Your responsibilities will include keeping all community areas clean and inviting—from the tour pathways to stairwells and parking lots, as well as amenity areas and dumpster zones. This role demands attention to detail, a dedication to quality, and a proactive approach to community upkeep.

Working as a Porter at Kairoi means you will also assist with the make-ready process of apartment homes by performing tasks such as trash removal, painting, and cleaning, helping to prepare units for new residents promptly and efficiently. You'll work closely with the Service Manager, lending your support on routine community inspections as well as groundskeeping, landscaping, irrigation, exterior painting, and pool maintenance tasks. Your contributions will directly affect community satisfaction and the lasting impression residents have of their living environment.

Kairoi Residential not only offers competitive compensation, which varies based on experience and community but also provides performance-based incentive compensation opportunities to reward your hard work and dedication. The company supports your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short and long-term disability coverage all offered at an affordable price. Moreover, you’ll have access to a 401k retirement plan with company match, an exceptional paid time off program—with paid holidays, floating holidays, birthday day off, and milestone sabbaticals—and a private discount network covering travel, dining, gifts, and experiences.

This role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and time management, have at least one year of experience in a related role, and possess a high school education or its equivalent. Essential to this position are a willingness to learn new skills, a positive attitude toward teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in community maintenance. At Kairoi, you will find a culture that encourages personal and professional growth through regular training and ongoing development opportunities.

Kairoi Residential is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from people of all backgrounds and identities. The company is committed to accessibility throughout the hiring process and workplace, providing accommodations as needed to ensure every candidate has a fair chance. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check, drug screening, and having a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the past 12 months. Join Kairoi Residential and become part of a team that champions opportunity, development, and community excellence.
