Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
- Ability to work in upright standing position for long periods
- Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Ability to walk and climb stairs
- Ability to handle, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to navigate the property quickly
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
- Ability to complete required forms
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 ft
- Capability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to see well enough to read faint writing with corrective lenses if needed
- Ability to speak English clearly and understandably
- Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs
- Must be mentally alert, detail oriented, and possess good reasoning skills
- Ability to work in small and confined spaces for extended periods
- Finger dexterity for typing and keyboard use

Job Duties
- Inform supervisor of needed supplies
- Maintain all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
- Remove trash from premises and assist in emergency cleaning
- Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to use
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude
- Maintain appropriate levels of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
- Inspect all assigned areas daily and report cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to supervisor
- Ensure security procedures are adhered to at all times
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work
- Maintain working relationship with building staff
- Furnish and burnish floors as required
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled
- Clean restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, refilling dispensers, cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, and emptying trash
- Report any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
- Climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 feet
- Respond promptly to emergencies
- Navigate the property quickly and easily as required
