Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred but not required
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8 hour workday
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in housekeeping preferred
- Strong positive attitude toward customer service
- Genuine interest in geriatric care
- Ability to motivate and maintain relationships with staff and residents
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED preferred but not required
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8 hour workday
- Preferred minimum experience of 1-3 years in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality or health care environment
Job Duties
- Perform both routine and periodic cleaning of common or non-residential areas
- Conduct floor care tasks including vacuuming, extracting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing and spot cleaning
- Remove trash from all designated areas and police grounds for litter
- Wash windows and assist residents with carrying baggage
- Clean resident carpets and assist housekeepers in resident homes
- Support cleanup efforts for leaks, spills, floods, and fire incidents
- Maintain work area and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Demonstrate community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates, and vendors
