Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- Must be able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Preferred experience of 1-3 years in housekeeping in hospitality or health care
- Ability to perform routine and periodic cleaning tasks
- Capability to assist with moving furniture and handling resident needs
- Adherence to OSHA safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping preferably in hospitality or health care
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Strong positive attitude toward customer service
- Genuine interest in geriatric care
- Ability to motivate and maintain relationships with staff and residents
Job Duties
- Perform routine and periodic cleaning of common or non-residential areas such as corridors, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and utility rooms according to standards
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing and spotting
- Remove trash from facilities and police grounds for trash
- Clean elevators, wash windows, and dust high and low surfaces
- Assist with move-in preparations including moving furniture and appliances
- Provide support for cleanup of leaks, spills, floods, and fires
- Maintain work area and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Demonstrate community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates, and vendors
