We are currently seeking a dependable and flexible Porter to join our Environmental Services team. This integral role focuses on sustaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents, staff, and visitors across the community. The Porter position is full-time with evening shifts scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM. This role is specifically designed as a floating position, allowing the individual to provide versatile support throughout multiple areas of the community rather than being confined to a single floor. The key emphasis during these hours is on maintaining dining areas, assisting with laundry operations, and promptly addressing facility needs that arise as the day progresses.

The Porter will perform essential cleaning, maintenance, and support duties critical to the community’s operation. This involves collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables campus-wide, cleaning dining room floors and service areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining common spaces, as well as responding proactively to spills, cleanups, and other emergency cleaning needs. The Porter also assists with moving furniture or supplies as required, maintaining equipment and supply areas, and ensuring that all common areas and trash rooms meet Well-Spring’s high standards for cleanliness and safety. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital in this role, as the Porter engages with various departments and staff members to support the smooth functioning of the community environment.
