Job Requirements
- One year of recent experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficiency in operating and caring for department-related equipment
- ability to read and write English
- availability to work 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. shifts including rotating weekends and holidays
- reliable and able to follow instructions
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
Job Qualifications
- One year of recent experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficiency in operating cleaning equipment including high-speed buffer, auto scrubber, rotary scrubber, wet/dry suction equipment, scaffolding
- ability to read and write English
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned areas and buildings
- follow all infection control regulations and guidelines
- operate and care for cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffers and auto scrubbers
- maintain cleanliness to uphold the mission and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
- work assigned shifts including rotating weekends and holidays
- ensure safety and sanitation in all cleaning activities
- report maintenance issues and restock cleaning supplies
