We are currently hiring for the role of Porter, a full-time position offering an hourly wage range of $20 to $22 based on experience and community specifics. This role is pivotal to the maintenance and beautification of our multifamily communities, helping us uphold our standards of excellence. The Porter is often viewed as the champion of community appearance, playing a crucial role in ensuring all outdoor spaces, tour pathways, parking areas, and amenity locations are clean, safe, and inviting. Their work impacts first impressions and resident satisfaction, making it a vital component of our community management strategy.
The Porter’s responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of community grounds, assisting with make-ready apartment preparations, and supporting routine inspections and groundskeeping activities. This position also involves landscaping tasks, exterior maintenance like painting and minor repairs, irrigation system upkeep, and pool maintenance as needed. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Porter participates in various activities that promote a pristine and appealing living environment.

Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience doing similar or equivalent duties
- A high school education or equivalent
- Must have excellent customer service and time management skills
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills
- Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and outdoor tasks
Job Qualifications

- At least one year of experience in similar or equivalent duties

Job Duties
- Ensure all community grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and free of debris
- Help with make-ready process of apartment homes by removing trash, painting, and cleaning
- Assist in routine community inspections and complete groundskeeping tasks
- Perform landscaping, exterior painting and repairs, irrigation tasks, and pool upkeep as directed by the Service Manager
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
- Participate in training and professional development as required
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with management as needed
