Job Description
Kairoi Residential is a distinguished multifamily real estate company dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences within high-performing apartment communities. With a commitment to delivering long-term value to investors, associates, and residents alike, Kairoi emphasizes a culture of opportunity, empowerment, and excellence. The company’s name, "Kairoi" (pronounced Ki-roy), symbolizes significant moments in time where opportunities are seized, reflecting the company’s mission to inspire and reward its team members for making a positive impact in their communities. As a forward-thinking organization, Kairoi fosters a dynamic work environment that supports professional growth, community engagement, and operational excellence throughout its portfolio.
At Kairoi Residential, opportunities abound for individuals eager to contribute meaningfully to the multifamily housing industry. The company’s approach focuses on delivering vibrant, welcoming, and well-maintained communities where residents feel at home and proud to live. The team is made up of talented professionals who are encouraged to seize their career moments through continuous learning, collaboration, and outstanding service.
The role of Porter at Kairoi Residential is pivotal in maintaining the clean, safe, and attractive appearance of the community’s grounds and shared spaces. As the Champion of Community Appearance, the Porter ensures that all outdoor and common areas, such as tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity spaces, and dumpster zones, are consistently clean and free of debris. This role is essential not only in enhancing curb appeal but also in supporting the overall resident experience.
In addition to routine cleaning duties, the Porter may assist with the make-ready process for apartment homes, which includes trash removal, painting, and cleaning tasks to prepare units for new residents. The role also involves participation in regular community inspections and performing various groundskeeping and maintenance activities, including landscaping, exterior painting, repairs, irrigation tasks, and pool upkeep, all under the guidance of the Service Manager.
Kairoi offers a competitive compensation package tailored to the candidate’s experience and the community served. This includes attractive incentive opportunities that reward high performance. Comprehensive health and wellness benefits are provided, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and both short- and long-term disability coverage at affordable rates. Employees also have access to a 401(k) retirement plan featuring a company match to support their long-term financial well-being.
In addition to financial benefits, Kairoi cares about work-life balance and offers a generous paid leave program that encompasses paid time off, holidays, floating holidays, birthday leave, and a milestone sabbatical program. Employees can enjoy exclusive discounts through a private discount network that covers travel, dining, gifts, and a variety of experiences. The company strongly invests in employee development, encouraging participation in training programs to support continuous growth and skill enhancement.
Kairoi Residential is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively welcoming applications from individuals of all backgrounds and identities. The company ensures accessible candidate experiences and provides accommodations as needed throughout the hiring process. Prospective employees should be aware that this role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, successful completion of background and drug screenings, and interaction with current and future residents. The ever-evolving nature of the multifamily industry means additional duties may be assigned as necessary, providing opportunities for employees to broaden their skills and impact within the community.
