The hourly wage for this position is $18, offering competitive and fair compensation aligned with candidate qualifications, experience, and location. Porters are tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of garage facilities, particularly focusing on common areas such as guest entrances, elevator landings, and parking spaces. Beyond cleaning duties, porters provide exceptional hospitality services by engaging courteously with guests and addressing various customer needs, including assistance with lock-outs, flat tires, battery jumps, and lost vehicle issues.
In this role, porters uphold Towne Park’s promise of delivering extraordinary hospitality by maintaining a welcoming and secure parking environment. Responsibilities include routine cleaning using brooms, mops, and power washers, emptying trash receptacles, wiping down signage and equipment, and managing guest key returns. The porter also plays a critical role in supporting guest satisfaction by offering directions, answering inquiries, and providing information about nearby attractions. Towne Park prioritizes safety, confidentiality, and security; thus, porters must comply with HIPAA standards when handling sensitive information and ensure the privacy and security of customer data.
Working at Towne Park means embracing a physically active role that involves standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and handling varying weights while being exposed to diverse weather conditions. This position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old, pass background checks and drug screenings, and possess strong communication skills in English. The company offers enrollment options for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan, providing a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
