We are currently seeking a dependable Porter to join our team full-time, working Monday through Friday, with the potential for scheduled weekends and holidays to support maintenance coverage. The role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of daily property operations by supporting the upkeep of shared spaces and assisting with light maintenance and setup tasks. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and values providing excellent customer service.

As a Porter, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and safety of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, sidewalks, and entryways. You will be tasked with routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning, which are essential to preserve the property's attractive appearance and ensure a pleasant experience for all occupants and visitors. Furthermore, you will collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling, replace liners, and maintain waste rooms and containers to promote sanitation and waste management best practices.

Beyond cleaning duties, the Porter will assist with event and meeting room setups and breakdowns, moving tables, chairs, and supplies as required. You will support move-in and move-out procedures by performing basic area preparation, light maintenance, and painting tasks alongside team coordination to facilitate smooth transitions for residents or tenants. Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns promptly to the appropriate team member is also a critical part of your role to uphold the property's standards and safety protocols.

Your responsibilities will extend to restocking supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained by notifying supervisors when supplies run low. You will be expected to follow all safety procedures carefully, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Providing courteous customer service and responding promptly to requests within the scope of your duties will be essential to fostering a positive and professional environment.

This role involves a blend of indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions, requiring physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift or push up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
