Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • willingness to work emergency call outs
  • clear background check
  • right to work in the United States
  • completion of pre-employment medical examination

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • knowledge of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic understanding of property maintenance and community rules

Job Duties

  • picks up trash around the complexes daily
  • cleans dumpster areas and laundry rooms
  • removes graffiti and hauls trash away
  • reports large trash objects and safety hazards to supervisor
  • monitors resident conduct for compliance with house rules and enforces community regulations
  • tags inoperable and abandoned vehicles
  • maintains records and reports occupancy violations and disturbances
  • coordinates with residents to provide minor maintenance
  • waters plants and checks security lighting
  • assists with serving notices and community meetings
  • maintains curb appeal and keeps common areas clean
  • observes community for safety and resolves unsafe conditions
  • fosters good resident relations
  • assists with preparation and showing of vacant units
  • ensures safety compliance and wears personal protective equipment
  • coordinates daily with maintenance supervisor
  • performs other assigned projects
