The Porter position at BH plays a critical role in maintaining the physical appearance and condition of the multifamily property. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, this full-time, entry-level role is essential in supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of both the exterior grounds—including landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and gutters—and the interior common areas such as trash chutes, trash compactors, and hallways. This role requires a strong commitment to service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Candidates who accept this mission will be part of a team that values how tasks are performed as much as the outcome, emphasizing quality and courtesy in all interactions. Additional duties include assisting with trash removal after move-outs, maintaining work areas and maintenance shops, supporting pool area cleanliness, and posting community notices when needed. This position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and janitorial tasks in an outdoor and indoor setting with exposure to various weather conditions. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with overtime and extended hours possible based on business needs.
