Currently, we are seeking a Porter to join our team at the Chesapeake Bay property, which consists of 216 residential units. This full-time, Monday through Friday role from 8 am to 5 pm offers an hourly wage between $19 and $20. The Porter position is vital for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the upkeep of both interior and exterior areas of the property. The individual in this role will be responsible for a range of tasks including cleaning lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and laundry areas, as well as performing minor repairs and general maintenance duties. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential, as the Porter helps create a secure, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

This role also requires preparation of outdoor spaces to withstand varying weather conditions, including weatherproofing techniques and securing outdoor furniture. The Porter will be expected to maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensure proper disposal of waste, assist with moving furniture and equipment, and adhere strictly to safety protocols using appropriate personal protective equipment. This position is well suited for someone with prior experience in similar roles, a solid work ethic, and the physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
